allways run the recomended power range, never max, and in a sealed box it can handle twice the power also, i had ii 12's on a kicker 1250.1 at one ohm and they banged hard, currently using a single 15 type r off a alpine pdr-m650, ported and banging, alpine is directly forward on at that place recomendations

I'm rockin the Alpine MRV-m1200 On my single Tall type r 15 inch 4 ohm sub, wired at ii ohms. No problems! I have the gain at three/four and the Bass Knob at quarter and it hits hard!!!
